  Beaver Creek Conservation Area

Discover prairie, forest and sheltered creek and river valley habitats of five nature trails and explore the Interpretive Centre. Programs Sunday 2:30 pm year round. An accredited watchable wildlife site.

Sand-based conservation area with beautiful natural trails, beaches, a wheelchair accessible interpretive trail and self-guided nature.

  Fred Heal Canoe Launch

A scenic canoe launch to begin a four to five hour paddle into Saskatoon.

  Marr Residence

The oldest building in the city of Saskatoon, still standing on its original location. This simple two - storey frame house earned a special place in the history of Canada when, in 1885, it served as a field hospital for many of the victims of the Northwest Resistance.

  Meewasin Canoe Tours

Experience the beautiful South Saskatchewan River in Meewasin's ten passenger voyageur canoe. All canoe tours start from Meewasin's Beaver Creek Conservation Area and there are two and four hour tours to choose from. Canoe tour charters for nine or eighteen people are also available for special events, birthday parties, reunions and conventions.

  Meewasin Skating Rink

The best outdoor skating rink in Canada (Readers Digest 2006). A small warm up shelter is available with a limited selection of skate rentals available by donation. The rink closes when temperature exceeds -30° Celsius. Winter months (late December to mid March) 11:00am-9:00pm.

  Meewasin Valley Centre & Gift Shop

This is the place to start your visit to Saskatoon. Entertaining, informative, hands-on exhibits about Saskatoon's history and the South Saskatchewan River. A souvenir from the Meewasin Gift Shop completes your visit. Special interpretive programs are offered Sundays at 2:00pm.

  Meewasin Valley Trail

Cycle, jog, cross-country ski or walk over 21km of riverbank trails through beautifully landscaped parks and natural areas.

  Poplar Bluffs Canoe Launch

Poplar Bluffs Canoe launch features a parking lot and canoe launch site to facilitate a beautiful three hour paddle into the city.

  Saskatoon Natural Grassland

An urban nature reserve with a small Prairie Nature Interpretive Centre. Interpretive programs led by Saskatoon Nature Society volunteers.
