Canada's Royal Winnipeg Ballet and Alberta Ballet will each present their most credited dance works in Saskatoon and Regina for the 2008-2009 dance season. The very popular local production Dare to Dance, produced by Dance Saskatchewan Inc., will again be included in this dance series (Saskatoon only).

Canada's Royal Winnipeg Ballet comes to Regina, September 27 & 28 and Saskatoon, September 30 and October 1 to perform its most popular ballet production ever - Peter Pan. Watch for the boy who never wanted to grow up as he flies over Regina and Saskatoon with his favorite companions, Wendy and Tinkerbell.

It is with great expectation that we get to see Alberta Ballet's acclaimed new dance production, coined. . . DANCING JONI. The Fiddle and The Drum is the result of a collaboration between Joni Mitchell and the company's Artistic Director, Jean Grand-Maître. Recognized the world over as one of the most influential, multi-facetted artists of this generation, the spirit of Joni Mitchell will revisit her hometown and home province January 20 & 21 in Regina and January 23 & 24 in Saskatoon, showcasing her unique artistic skills.
