Tickets to the 2012 CCMA awards show on sale this Saturday, December 10

SASKATOON, SK  – For the first time ever, the Canadian Country Music Association® (CCMA) is bringing PotashCorp Country Music Week® and the Canadian Country Music Association Awards to the city of Saskatoon, and to celebrate, CCMA Awards show tickets are going on sale earlier than ever so you can give the gift of country to your friends and family this holiday season. 

The 30th annual CCMA Awards show is taking place at Credit Union Centre in Saskatoon, SK on Sunday, September 9. Tickets to the show will go on sale to the public on Saturday, December 10 at 10:00 a.m. CST and will be priced at $45, $75 and $90 (including all taxes and service charges) and will be available at all Ticketmaster locations, by phone at 306-938-7800, or online at

“We’re thrilled to be bringing our celebration of some of Canada’s best and brightest stars back to the Prairies, and with its thriving music and arts community, we’re certain that Saskatoon will embrace all that our events have to offer,” said Don Green, CCMA Executive Director. “By putting this select group of CCMA Awards tickets on sale early, we hope to increase anticipation and build even more momentum for PotashCorp Country Music Week and the CCMA Awards in Saskatoon.”

This 2012 CCMA Awards show is on Sunday, September 9 at Credit Union Centre and will start at 5:00 p.m. CST. Ticket holders will have the opportunity to see the nominees, performers and presenters take to the red carpet at 3:00 p.m. CST and doors to the show will open at 3:30 p.m. with fans needing to be in their seats by 4:45 p.m. before the 5:00 p.m. live broadcast.

Performers and presenters for the 2012 CCMA Awards will be announced in the coming months while nominees for the 30th annual awards will be announced at a media conference on July 18, 2012.
