Saskatoon, get ready for the World Professional Chuckwagon Association Races!

SASKATOON, Saskatchewan – After a successful kickoff weekend in Grande Prairie, the World Professional Chuckwagon Association drivers and wagons are ready for the “Half Mile of Hell” right here in Saskatoon at Marquis Downs racecourse, Prairieland Park.

The best horses and drivers that entertain grandstand packed crowds at the annual Calgary Stampede will race this weekend. Rick Fraser will be looking to defend his opening weekend championship from Grande Prairie, with challenges coming from the 2012 Calgary Stampede Champion, Kelly Sutherland as well as local favorites Luke Tournier and Gary Gorst.

Plan to attend a weekend of action as the WPCA will provide world-class entertainment by bringing its 36 amazing drivers and their athletic and superbly trained horses in a uniquely western spectacle.
