The Bridge City prepares to host two major national conferences
Saskatoon, SK – Conventions Saskatoon! is pleased to announce that our city is hosting two high profile trade shows, showcasing Saskatoon’s many conference-focused assets on a national scale.
The 41st Annual Canadian Association of Municipal Administrators (CAMA) Conference takes place May 28 – 30, and the Federation of Canadian Municipalities’ (FCM) 75th Annual Conference and Municipal Expo runs June 1 – 4 at TCU Place.
“We are excited to welcome both the CAMA and the FCM Conferences to Saskatoon,” said Brad Peters, Director of Conventions and Events Sales for Tourism Saskatoon. “The Conventions Saskatoon! team has worked hard to secure this great event for our city, and we are excited to showcase everything that Saskatoon has to offer to the cross section of Canada’s municipal political leaders and top administrators. We are confident that the delegates will enjoy their time here and leave with lasting memories of Saskatoon.”
These conferences are designed for municipal political leaders and senior administrative staff to create innovative collaborative partnerships. Delegates will share knowledge and expertise through industry development on long term infrastructure, rural community development, and support of sustainable communities within their respective municipalities across Canada.
“We are thrilled to be hosting two key influential conferences here in our great city,” said Mayor Don Atchison. “Saskatoon has so much to offer convention delegates beyond their streamed focus whilst they are here. The strong support that Conventions Saskatoon! provides is outstanding, and they are a key component in elevating Saskatoon’s profile as a top North American conventions destination, which in turn greatly benefits our local economy.”
