Tickets for Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan’s 2011 season have officially been on sale through Ticketmaster since April; however, those waiting to visit the festival staff at the riverbank site will be happy to learn that the on-site box office opens tomorrow (June 9th) at noon.

For the month of June, the box office will be open from 12:00pm to 6:00pm Monday to Saturday (with a short break between 2:30pm and 3:00pm).  Starting in July, the box office will be open every day with extended festival hours.  Tickets can be purchased by phone at: (306) 652-1900 or in-person at the festival site, located at the foot of the University Bridge next to the Mendel Art Gallery (look for the big white tents!)

This year’s season of Magic and Mirth runs from July 6th to August 21st and features the hilarious romantic folly of Love’s Labour’s Lost (presented by SaskTel) playing in repertory with a wonderful blend of drama and comedy, The Winter’s Tale (presented by PotashCorp).  Tickets start at $32 for adults, $25 for students and seniors, and $18 for youths.  Special “Procrastinator’s Week” pricing is available for all performances between July 11th to 17th.   Family matinee discounts also return this season.
