Afghanistan360° tells the story of Canada’s engagement in Afghanistan. Through photos and text, podcasts and videos, visitors can learn about Canada’s role in helping the Government of Afghanistan reshape their country. The exhibit portrays Canada’s six priorities and three signature projects with examples of work that is taking place in the field such as building schools, training teachers, vaccinating children against polio, and repairing Kandahar Province’s Dahla dam to create better access to water for irrigation. Visitors can learn about training Afghan National Security Forces, assisting the Government of Afghanistan in providing basic services to its population, providing life-saving humanitarian assistance, enhancing border security, facilitating political reconciliation, and helping the Afghan government to increase the capacity for democratic governance and national institutions.
