Bob Klassen’s 80th Birthday Bash – featuring The Saskatoon Klezmer Band, The Crawdaddios, and Maurice Drouin’s Jazz Show

Bob Klassen is the elder statesman of Saskatoon jazz musicians and has enjoyed a stellar career that began in the late 1940’s. But don’t expect the Jazz Jeweler to be a spectator for the night’s musical performances as Bob will be the featured soloist in all three bands. Some of the other local musicians helping Bob to celebrate will be David Kaplan, Sheldon Corbett, Dave Anderson, Sarah Griffith, Heather LaRue, Hans Van Norren, Barrie Redford, Grant Currie, Jamie Donlevy, Skip Kutz, and Don Griffith. The musicians will be donating their services this evening with all proceeds going towards our own SJS Big Band.
