Visit the national historic sites of the North West Resistance where battles raged between Louis Riel’s followers and the Canadian militia. Hike the trail from the river to General Middleton’s battle camp at Fish Creek. Enjoy the wildlife and valley scenery en route. At trip’s end, visit the site of the final Battle of Batoche via the historic Carlton Trail.
