An impassioned singer and electric guitar player capable of wild performance and great subtlety, Buddy Guy is both a pioneer and a living link to blues history. Once the go-to guitarist for Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf, Little Walter and Sonny Boy Williamson, he became the chief influence on the next generation of guitar heroes, like Jimi Hedrix and Eric Clapton. A Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee himself, he is still vital; his 2010 release, Living Proof, won the Grammy for Best Contemporary Blues Album. He’s won five other Grammy Awards since 1991. Since his recording debut in 1995, Jonny Lang’s success includes six releases, a Grammy Award, and the hits “Lie to Me” and “Wander this World”. Last seen at the Basie with the Experience Hendrix Tour, he has toured with B.B. King, the Rolling Stones, Aerosmith and Jeff Beck.
