Since its inception four years ago, Off to the Races has become one of the orchestra’s major fundraisers and the “fun” event of the summer season. Off to the Races combines a fun-filled wine-tasting and betting seminar in the Marquis Downs Jockey Club, and dinner overlooking the racetrack with the excitement of “playing the horses,” especially on the Saskatoon Symphony feature race. Everyone attending is encouraged to wear “fun, fabulous hats” which are judged for prizes.
