Byron Mikaloff / Christian Roberge / Alex Morissette
In 1928, at the young age of 18, Django Reinhardt lost the use of two fingers in a fire. Following that accident, Reinhardt developed a unique, jazz inspired-style of guitar playing and became one of the world's most influential musicians.
In 2006, guitar virtuosos Byron Mikaloff and Christian Roberge met jazz bassist Alex Morissette at the Quebec Conservatory of Music.
The Lost Fingers' shows have become a must see attraction across the world; their irresistible sound and style crosses borders. allowing the group to play major international markets and for tens of thousands of fans to witness their lightning fast ascension.
After more than 400 000 albums of their three previous albums and after more than 500 shows across the planet the band releases LA MARQUISE in late March 2012. An album true to the Lost Fingers form including several international hits never released in Canada as well as new songs always delivered with their own signature style and flair.
