Amati Quartet with guest Henri Loiselle (Bass baritone)
“Affectionately known as Saskatchewan’s own Singing Farmer” Henri Loiselle never fails to evoke special memories for the audience. Through his interpretation of the music, his interaction with the audience and his relaxed stage presence, he totally captivates his listeners.
Accompanied by the Amati Quartet, Loiselle’s program will include stunning renditions of a wide variety of renowned classics such as Mozarts’ Ave Verum, spirituals by H.T. Burleigh – Going Home, Deep River, and Wade in the Water, Nearer My God to Thee – the hymn played during the sinking of the Titanic, and other gems from his vast repertoire of concert and recorded repertoire.
