Classics for Skeptics - A Halloween Spooktacular

A frightfully special symphonic journey into spookiness and suspense! It’s a sequel to the 2011–2012 season’s Classics for Skeptics – Bridal Edition. It’s the season, so Maestro Sawa and the orchestra is celebrating with music fit for ghosts, goblins, and graveyards. There are lots of surprises in store, but biggest is that you know this classical music already—it’s made you cringe, given you goosebumps, and made you jump out of your chair. From Hitchcock’s Psycho to Disney’s Fantasia, plus our friends the Smurfs, it’s a good-spirited classical version of fright night. What better night to welcome the emerging musicians in the Saskatoon Youth Orchestra? They join the SSO to share in the fun.
