Writing North 3

Playing with Our Selves: Writing, Solitude and Audience. Writing North is a two-day writers' festival that targets Saskatoon and a wider Saskatchewan community of aspiring writers and anyone interested in writers and books. In its third year, Writing North features five established writers: Ken Babstock, C.E. Gatchalian, David Poulsen, Donna Michelle St. Bernard, and Candace Savage. These diverse authors will present a public reading, panel discussion, and individual sessions on writing in poetry, drama, performance, and prose. The Saturday workshop-style sessions provide an environment where developing writers alongside the general public can have direct access to some of Canada's premier literary artists.
