We are pleased to announce that this year we have partnered with Ronald McDonald House Charities Saskatchewan, one of the premier children's charitable organizations in this province. Ronald McDonald House (Saskatoon) best exemplifies the theme for this year's parade "Home for the Holidays" as they have opened their home providing much needed support for sick children and their families since 1985.
Once again, Downtown Saskatoon will come alive with the sights and sounds of Christmas, bringing joy and excitement to thousands of onlookers as they watch festively decorated floats, baton twirlers, marching bands and community groups parade by.
Please note that the parade route starts on 19th Street East adjacent to 3rd Avenue South. The route will proceed north along 3rd Avenue, turning at 21st Street. It will continue eastbound to 4th Avenue, then turning westbound down 22nd Street. At 1st Avenue, the parade will head to Midtown Plaza's main entrance where Santa will disembark, enter Midtown Plaza; signaling the start of the Christmas season! We recommend arriving early to save your own prime time parade viewing seats!
This parade has been a successful endeavour for over a quarter of a century, and we would like to thank the City of Saskatoon for your continued support.
On Sunday November 19th 2016 at 1:00pm we welcome everyone to come out and enjoy the parade.
