Magic City Chorus, Saskatoon's women's a cappella singing group, will be celebrating Canada's 150th year with the production "Canada: One People, One Voice" on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Erindale Alliance Church. There will be two shows: 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. We will be singing four-part harmony, a cappella style, to songs written, performed or arranged by Canadians. Our story weaves around the discoveries of sisters going through their grandparent's trunk of treasures. There will be Canadiana at every turn! Our guest artist is Joseph Naytowhow. Joseph Naytowhow is a gifted Plains/Woodland Cree (nehiyaw) singer/songwriter, storyteller, and voice, stage and film actor from the Sturgeon Lake First Nation Band in Saskatchewan. An accomplished performer, Joseph is the recipient of the 2006 Canadian Aboriginal Music Award’s Keeper of the Tradition Award. Tickets are available at McNally Robinson Bookstore, Picatic, chorus members, Janet 306-249-1972 or at the door if space permits. Tickets are $22 and children 12 and under are free (ticket required)
