Pulse & Special Crops Convention 2014
The Pulse & Special Crops Convention 2014 is North America’s largest gathering of the international pulse & special crops industry. As the world’s largest growing region of pulses (peas, beans, lentils and chickpeas) and special crops (mustard, buckwheat, sunflower and canary seed), Canada hosts this annual convention in cities around the country. Delegates from more than 25 countries attend the convention to network with business contacts, learn about new and emerging issues in pulse & special crops industry, and to visit growing areas to see seeded acres. The 2014 Convention is expected to attract a large crowd, as Saskatchewan is the “heart” of Canada’s pulse growing region, each year producing some of the world’s largest pea and lentil crops.
