An exciting new 3-day river festival - an authentic Canada 150 event celebrating our Canadian Heritage River flowing through the heart of Saskatoon! Events include voyageur canoe races, recreational canoeing, kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding instruction/demos and short river tours. Victoria Park will provide the focus for river-related exhibits and displays, musical and dance entertainment, storytelling and river heritage walking tours. River-themed movies and art exhibitions will showcase the beauty and value of the South Saskatchewan River throughout the festival at various city locations. Final day will kick-off fully outfitted interpretive canoe tours along the river Trails of 1885 with destination at Batoche. All told the River Rendezvous 150 will be a must-do event to make up a memorable Canada 2017 summer!
