Persphone seeks community ensemble

Published: Jul 10, 2012

Ever dream of performing in a Persephone Mainstage show?  This could be your chance!

Saskatoon --- The Sound of Music will be the largest show in the history of Persephone Theatre, and provides a rare opportunity for community members to experience the world of professional theatre firsthand.

Persephone Theatre is accepting submissions from Saskatoon community members for a community ensemble as well as children’s roles for its production of The Sound of Music.  This is a rare opportunity to perform alongside professional actors and to experience the world of Persephone from the inside.  Please note that all roles will be performed on a volunteer basis.  This production promises to be great fun and we are thrilled to be able to offer this opportunity to our community.

Persephone is seeking men and women of all ages with strong singing skills to play various chorus and non-speaking roles, as well as children to play 6 of the Von Trapp children. Auditions will be help July 28th and August 4th, with submissions due July 16th. More details can be found at www.persephonetheatre.org
