The Eagar Brothers, stars of the twice-Gemini-nominated Which Way To... OLN TV travel series, which took them to over sixty countries worldwide, have set their sights on a new series of videos called the Great Canadian Adventure Tour: a forty-day cross-country exploration of the culture, people and places in their home country, Canada.

“This is a cross-country celebration of the greatest country in the world,.” says Jeff Eagar.

“We’ve been everywhere but, like the chef who dazzles his customers with fine foods but rarely relaxes and enjoys his own recipes, we’ve never really taken a close look at our favourite nation, Canada.” says Jeff Eagar.

“It’s time we did.”

The trip starts in Nova Scotia on September 6th and the Brothers hope to wrap-up on Vancouver Island by mid-October.

The Great Canadian Adventure Tour (GCAT) will be broadcast to the world via a highly advanced social media strategy, featuring twitter, Facebook, their own website – www.greatcanadianadventuretour.com – as well as an exclusive YouTube channel.  They’ll also be geo-targeting international markets worldwide. 

The production plan includes creation of up to one hundred short, fast, quick, illuminating videos based on the people they meet and the sights they see.

“We live in the greatest country in the world but what makes us great is not just the expansive scenery and peaceful great cities, it’s the people of Canada and that’s where we will focus much of our activities, talking to real people about this great country which, by the way, consistently places among the United Nations’ top countries in the world as a safe place to visit.” says Jeff.

“We thank the provinces, Travelodge Canada and Chrysler Canada for their kind support.  We could not have undertaken this mighty challenge without them!
