Saskatoon, Saskatchewan -- The Host Committee for the 2012 Tim Hortons Brier – coming to the Saskatoon Credit Union Centre March 3-11 – announced that single draw event passes for all 22 draws at the Canadian men’s curling championship are now on sale.
Now fans have the chance to select the games they really want to see at the times that work best for their schedule. Event passes are priced at $22 for all round robin draws – Saturday through Thursday – $29 for the playoffs, semi-final and bronze medal match and $39 for Sunday’s championship final.
They also have the opportunity to take advantage of seat selection online at curling.ca/tickets.
“Not only can fans pick the games they really want to see and the times that best suit them, with the interactive seat map they can pick the seat that offers the best view of the action on the ice… and purchase their tickets right there online.” noted Kerry Tarasoff, Host Committee Chair. “And, it also includes much more than a ticket to the competition.”
Every same day event pass provides complimentary admission to the party in the Original 16 Patch with a great selection of food and beverages and an outstanding lineup of live entertainment. Bands performing on stage include Method 2 Madness, Hey Romeo, Longshot, March Hare, the Boom Chucka Boys, the Chevelles and Mudmen.
Plus fans can meet face-to-face with the athletes in Team Autograph sessions and Up Close and Personal interviews... where they get to ask the questions! And, for their own taste of competition, fans can register for free in the Cool Shots competition – the small-scale version of the roaring game played on shuffleboard-style tables. It’s held daily in the Original 16 Patch with cash prizes on the line.
