Saskatoon, SK – After weeks of planning, the Saskatoon Royals are finishing preparations to host the Keystone Cup Western Canadian Junior B Hockey Championship from April 19 to 22, 2012.
“It’s been a long few months but we’re finally ready to host the 2012 Keystone Cup Western Canadian Junior B Championship,” said Robert Renneberg, general manager of the Saskatoon Royals. “The teams have been set and we’re excited to see some of Canada’s emerging hockey talent compete for the cup.”
The Keystone Cup features six teams, all of whom are champions of the Junior B leagues in their provinces. Teams competing in the championship this year include the Saskatoon Royals (Host), Traveland RV Storm (Saskatchewan), Abbotsford Pilots (British Columbia), Whitecourt Wolverines (Alberta), Arborg Ice Dawgs (Manitoba) and the Thunder Bay Northern Hawk (Northern Ontario). All 17 games of the tournament will be held at Harold Latrace Arena.
Tickets for the Keystone Cup are $70 for a tournament pass, $25 for a day pass and $10 for an individual game pass. Student and senior pricing is set at $60 for a tournament pass, $20 for a day pass and $8 for an individual game pass. Tickets can be purchased at Harold Latrace Arena.
