natural beauty

Boasting over 300 acres of riverbank parks and trails to explore, and with more hours of sunshine than any other major Canadian city, Saskatoon is a nature-lover’s delight.
Enjoy a wide array of animals native to Saskatchewan at the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park & Zoo
Stop at Saskatoon Bus Stop Refreshments to pick up a River Bank Frank and then take a leisurely walk at River Landing and on the Meewasin Valley trails along the South Saskatchewan riverbank.  On the west side of the river you can see the landmark “Castle on the River”, the Delta Bessborough Hotel and the weir, where the pelicans return year after year.  On the east side of the river, explore the University of Saskatchewan.
Board Shearwater Tours newest vessel, the Prairie Lily (seasonal) docked behind the Mendel Art Gallery for a relaxing river cruise.
Lace up your hiking boots and hit the trails at Beaver Creek Conservation Area .  Don’t forget your binoculars; it’s a great bird watching spot!
Enjoy a light dinner at the Berry Barn (seasonal) in a serene garden-like setting overlooking the South Saskatchewan River. Don’t forego the Saskatoon Berry Pie!

Other Things to Do:
