September 16, 2016 - Saskatoon Sports Tourism and the Saskatoon Association of Radio Control Auto Racers (SARCAR) are delighted to announce the return of the PROTOform Western Canadian Indoor Championship Series (WCICS) to Saskatoon. The radio controlled car racing takes place September 23 - 25, 2016 at the Cosmo Civic Centre (3130 Laurier Drive).

The PROTOform WCICS has a proud history of 25 years of radio control car racing, covering over 1,800 kilometers from Vancouver Island to Saskatoon. With over 1,200 entries expected this year, the PROTOform WCICS has the distinction of being the largest indoor radio controlled racing series in the world. Racers from all over Western Canada will converge for some door to door, bumper to bumper racing.

SARCAR, host of the season opening race, is a proud community supporter. 25% of the event's profits will be donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Saskatoon and area. Admission is free for spectators. Bring the family, invite your friends, and enjoy three fun-filled days of racing action.
