Saskatoon, SK - January 10, 2018 - Earlier today, The New York Times released their list of "52 Places to Visit in 2018" - a highly regarded international ranking of cities, regions, and countries that travellers should explore. Tourism Saskatoon is thrilled to announce that Saskatoon has placed #18 on the list.
Saskatoon is the only Canadian destination listed on the comprehensive compilation, which ranks New Orleans as #1, and exotic locations such as the Caribbean and Patagonia as other must see destinations.

"Having recognition in such a highly regarded publication and list is a huge opportunity to get our destination known across the globe."
The New York Times highlights the Remai Modern as "a centerpiece of Saskatoon's redeveloping riverfront". Other mentions include Saskatoon's award winning and expanded airport, and the soon-to-be-opened Alt Hotel at River Landing.
