  • We will drive to Gardiner Dam (round-trip distance about 250 km) to look for waterfowl as well as to look for eagles and other birds of prey. Dress warmly and bring a lunch.

    Bus: Route 1 Exhibition departs downtown terminal at 8:31 AM and arrives on Lorne Avenue near museum about 8:50 AM.

    About Saskatoon Nature Society: 

    We support nature conservation projects, and are an active advocate for the preservation of plant and animal habitats. We are stewards of the Saskatoon Natural Grasslands.

    We hold monthly indoor programs featuring a guest speaker from September through April. Throughout the year, we organize numerous birding, botany and butterfly field trips as well as identification classes for birds and wildflowers.
