  • 30th ANNUAL REFLECTIONS OF NATURE
    ART SHOW & SALE
The Reflections of Nature Art Show & Sale showcases over 500 pieces of art from over 200 North American artists, carvers, sculptors and photographers (primarily from Western Canada) who enjoy expressing their love of nature through their art. The show encompasses all ages and skill levels. This all happens at Prairieland Park on October 22 & 23, 2022.
Registration for artists is on Friday, October 21 from noon – 8 pm. Forms are available at registration, but can be filled out in advance since they are available online and at several galleries and art supply stores. Artist & vendor booths are set up Friday afternoon or Saturday morning before the show opens at noon. Booths include those geared toward vendors, artists and art associations, as well as those focusing on our environment and wildlife.
The Gala Event including live entertainment, wine & cheese, our feature artist presentation and live & silent auctions starts on Saturday at 7 pm. The $25 tickets for that must be purchased in advance online, at registration or at various galleries and art supply stores. Come out to meet the artists!
Our feature artist for 2022 is the multitalented Sarah Lightfoot Wagner. Not only is she an accomplished painter but a carver and a sculptor. Her feature artist presentation is on Saturday night at the Gala but if you miss that you can see her and her work at her booth during the show.
The weekend will include events such as our annual Quick Draw and Quick Carve (replacing the Pin Carving) and new this year is Quick Burn (pyrography) along with various workshops and art demos. Much of the art displayed will be for sale. There will also be a Members’ Store where you will find a variety of items including reproductions, cards, and smaller art pieces. The special display of Artist Trading Cards gives artists and photographers an opportunity to collect cards from other artists. Before leaving visitors can sit and relax watching the ongoing member’s photography slideshow. New to the show this year is the Chainsaw Carving special competition.
The show is open to the public on Saturday from noon – 5 pm and again on Sunday from 9 am – 4 pm. Admission is only $10; children under 12 are free; a weekend pass is $15.
The Gala Event starts at 7 pm Saturday. Admission is $25 by advance tickets only; these tickets are available online or at registration on Friday or at some local galleries and art supply stores.
This show is hosted by The Saskatchewan Wildlife Art Association
