Craik Sustainable Living Project

The 3 sustainability-oriented actions that we're proud to have incorporated in our workplace are:

1. Building a demonstration building for alternative construction and systems, as well as xeriscape landscaping

2. Developing an ecovillage

3. Workshops, seminars and other events to promote sustainable living



The three actions that we intend to introduce in the next 12 months are:

1. Looking into joining or supporting a solar coop

2. New workshop offerings (alternative building, aquaponics, permaculture, etc)

3. Promoting access to recycling services for rural residents



The three actions that we intend to introduce in the next 2-4 years are:

1. Further developing online presence and local signage that promotes environmental sustainability

2. Exploring opportunities for education partnerships

3. Supporting local and healthy food production
