SaskTel Centre has established itself as the sports and entertainment hub of Saskatchewan. As the home of two sports franchises – the WHL’s Saskatoon Blades and the NLL’s Saskatchewan Rush (2016 League Champions) – SaskTel Centre continues to distinguish itself as the host of major, high-profile events of national and international distinction and performances and special events that brought international stature to Saskatoon. Hosting over 100 events a year, with concert capacity of over 13,000 and sport event capacity of 15,100, SaskTel Centre is committed to quality of service and a guest experience that is second to none. SaskTel, entered into a 10-year agreement to become the arena’s Naming Rights Partner on October 1, 2014.
DescriptionSaskTel Centre is a multi-purpose arena facility that has expanded its seating to accommodate over 15,000 people. With moveable seating risers and telescopic seating, SaskTel Centre can convert its arena level into 60,000 square feet of exhibitor space and also has an additional 20,000 square feet of space on the concourse level.
Free onsite parking can accommodate approximately 4,000 vehicles. Transit services can be arranged from downtown. For conventions, SaskTel Centre’s professional catering staff can serve groups from 6 to 4,000. For trade shows and exhibitions, several concession service points are conveniently located throughout the facility.
In addition to being a venue for large trade shows and conventions, SaskTel Centre plays host to big-ticket concerts, rodeos, ice shows, circuses and other events of a similar size. SaskTel Centre has hosted successful national and international events which include the Juno Awards, Canadian Country Music Association’s Awards, Tim Horton’s Briers, Memorial Cups, Canadian Figure Skating Championships, CIS University Cups, and World Junior Hockey Championships to name a few.
