SaskTel Centre

Saskatoon’s premier sports and entertainment destination, the 15,000-seat SaskTel Centre is the home of the WHL’s Saskatoon Blades, as well as the National Lacrosse League’s Saskatchewan Rush, and the Saskatchewan Rattlers of the Canadian Elite Basketball League. SaskTel Centre has also been the venue of choice for national and international events, including the Juno Awards and IIHF World Junior Hockey Championships.

Gordie Howe Sports Complex

Named for our legendary hometown hockey hero, the Gordie Howe Sports Complex is the heart of sport in Saskatoon. One of the most comprehensive sports facilities in Canada, this versatile venue boasts an eight-lane Class II IAAF-certified 400 metre track, along with facilities for more than ten summer and winter sports, from cross-country skiing and speed skating to baseball and lacrosse.

University of Saskatchewan

Home to one of the top university sport programs in the country, the University of Saskatchewan campus offers a number of cutting-edge athletic facilities. Newly built Merlis Belsher Place is a multi-sport facility equipped with two NHL-size ice rinks. The Physical Activity Complex (PAC) boasts a triple gym with seating for up to 2,400 people. The campus has even played host to the USports Vanier Cup in its iconic, 6,100-seat Griffiths Stadium.

Shaw Centre

The Shaw Centre aquatic facility includes a 50-metre competitive pool that is also one of the largest-volume indoor pools in the world. Designed to meet Federation Internationale du Natation (FINA) regulations, the facility has hosted a number of championship events in speed swimming, water polo, diving, and more.
