SASKATOON, SK - October 1, 2013 - Saskatoon is a place of a lifetime. National Geographic Travel in partnership with the Canadian Tourism Commission today launched 50 Places of a Lifetime: Canada, a digital super mag unparalleled in its coverage of any single country. Among the places that made the list is Saskatchewan's largest city, Saskatoon.

Tourism Saskatoon's travel media department has posted an exceptional year which included hosting the Travel Media Association of Canada annual conference. The media department worked closely with Tourism Saskatchewan and the Canadian Tourism Commission on several media visits throughout the year, all in effort to share the Saskatoon story.

The world's first digital super mag showcases all-new content from every Canadian province and territory. Other Saskatchewan destinations included on the list include Prince Albert National Park and Big Muddy Valley.
